The Prayer That Sets You Free

Forgiveness is one of those things that sounds good until it gets personal.

Because usually the hardest people to forgive are the ones who hurt us the deepest. In this message, Pastor Lance reminds us that when Jesus said, “Father, forgive them,” from the cross, He wasn’t just teaching forgiveness—He was modeling it.

Forgiveness doesn’t mean what happened didn’t matter. It means it won’t master you. And because Jesus has forgiven us, we can release others to Him and walk in freedom.

Maybe the prayer some of us need to keep praying is simple: Father, I release them to You.
