Faking the Funk

It’s possible to know the songs, know the Bible, go to church, and know all the right things to say and still be far from Jesus.

In this message, Ksaan challenges us with a simple but important question: Are you faking the funk?

Isaiah 29:13 warns about people who honor God with their lips while their hearts are far from Him. Jesus later uses the same words to confront the Pharisees in Mark 7.

Religion can teach us how to look the part. But a real relationship with Jesus changes us from the inside out.

When you truly know Jesus, your have-tos become want-tos. You stop simply going through the motions and start living from a genuine connection with Him.

If you’ve been playing church, chasing appearances, or simply going through the motions, this message is a reminder:

Stop chasing religion. Chase a relationship with Jesus.
