Stand Firm -When We Stop Standing

Pressure is everywhere. Compromise feels easier. And standing firm can feel costly. But God’s Word calls us to something better.

In this message, Pastor Lance reminded us that drift often begins with passivity. When responsibility feels heavy, silence can feel safer, and avoiding responsibility may feel easier in the moment, but it always makes life harder in the long run.

We went back to the beginning and saw that responsibility was never a burden; it was God’s trust. And even when we hide or pull away, God doesn’t walk away from us. He moves toward us with grace, covering what we can’t fix on our own, through Jesus.

Challenging? Yes.

Hope-filled? Absolutely.
