The Road to Restoration

We all have things we'd rather hide.

Regrets.

Past mistakes.

Sin we'd rather keep buried.

But Psalm 51 reminds us that freedom doesn't come from covering it up, it comes from bringing it to God.

In this message, we looked at David's prayer of repentance after one of the darkest seasons of his life. Instead of making excuses, David owned his sin, trusted God's mercy, and asked God to do what only He could do: create a clean heart and restore the joy he had lost.

The big takeaway? God isn't asking for perfection. He's inviting us into repentance.

Real repentance isn't about shame—it's about restoration. When we confess our sin, God's grace doesn't just forgive us; it transforms us. He restores our joy, renews our hearts, and gives us a story that points others back to Him.
